travel memory is fragile
your photos live on google drive, your stories live in whatsapp, your favourite cafe in chiang mai lives in a note you can't find. instagram is a feed; feeds forget. timeline is a home that doesn't.
what you get
date-anchored entries
every trip, every place, every long afternoon — anchored to the day, month, or year. the timeline reorders itself as you add memories.
photos and video, scroll-linked
each entry holds image galleries and short video. the profile photo switches to the era you're viewing — you at 22 in lisbon, you at 30 in tokyo.
private by default
toggle the whole timeline or any individual entry private. share a URL only when you want. no algorithmic surfacing to strangers.
permanent, without upkeep
no 'stories expire in 24 hours'. no 'this platform is shutting down'. the URL stays yours.
common questions
can i import photos from google photos?
upload images per entry — bulk google photos import is on the roadmap. the per-entry flow is fast enough that most travellers add a trip in 5 minutes.
does it support video?
yes. each entry supports inline video with native controls, up to your plan's storage limit.
will my photos survive if timeline shuts down?
you own your data. export is one-click (PDF + DOCX). any future permanence promises would be in writing.
can i make a family timeline?
each timeline is single-user for now. shared-contributor timelines are on the roadmap.
