timeline is a product made by kalopsialabs. by using timeline, you agree to these terms.
the service
timeline provides a platform for creating and sharing personal timelines. we offer free and paid plans with different feature sets and storage limits.
your account
you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. you must provide accurate information when creating your account. one person, one account. automated account creation is not allowed.
your content
you retain ownership of all content you create on timeline. by posting content publicly, you grant us a license to display it on your public profile. you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.
acceptable use
don't use timeline for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive. don't upload content that infringes on others' rights. don't attempt to access other users' accounts or private data. we reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
paid plans
paid plans (story at $3.99/mo or $29/yr, legacy at $7.99/mo or $59/yr) are billed through stripe. you can cancel anytime. upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period, then your account reverts to the free plan. existing content is preserved but paid features become locked.
storage limits
each plan has storage limits (story: 1 GB, legacy: 5 GB). if you downgrade and exceed the new plan's limit, existing files are preserved but you cannot upload new media until you're within the limit.
termination
you can delete your account at any time from your settings. we may terminate accounts that violate these terms. upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.
changes to terms
we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
disclaimer
timeline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that the service will meet every expectation.
